battle of the ground covers

| I've got a moist, part-shade bed with ajuga 'bronze beauty,' creeping phlox, and some forget-me-nots all interplanted (along with some columbines and hellebores). Any bets as to which one will win? Also, do I need to be concerned about the welfare of some mature hostas I've got growing in the same bed? |

| the phlox will creep towards the sunnier spots, the aguja and the forget me nots will live in a fair bit of harmony, and I have never seen either bother mature hostas. nothing but snails seems to bother my hostas. |
