 o
groundcover for area with weed netting

We have a sloped area that has been covered with the weed netting and bark. We have some blue rug junipers planted there but would like to mix another groundcover between them. Is there something that will spread on top of the weed netting and also not choke out the juniper? Gets full sun, not great soil, but okay. Also should be rabbit resistant. Does not get much foot traffic.

Thanks, Peggy

you can use a shovel to cut foot long slits in the fabric, then dig a slit trench, set three plants in it, backfill, and put the fabric more or less back where it came from.

groundcover roses wouldn't be a bad idea- they'll only be a little taller than the junipers, and you could add a sedum or two to compliment the foliage - with the ruddy stems of rose bushes, dragon's blood sedum might make a good underplanting.
