Deer Resistant Groundcover for Blazing Heat

Posted by zone8brico 8b-Central Texas (My Page) on

I would appreciate recommendations for a low growing, aggressive ground cover that must also be deer resistant and can handle blazing full sun (temps have been 104 to 105 the last few days). I have about 3000 sq. ft. to cover on a slope and I don't want more turf grass.

Any ideas ?

Thanks

Let me add that because of the large area that I must cover, seed is probably the best option if anyone has any ideas ...
