Durable Ground Cover

Posted by melis_689 (My Page) on

Hi, I'm looking for an aggressive ground cover that will fill the long areas between the sidewalk and the street. There are pine tress in both strips, so the area gets sun and shade. The soil is acidic and bad.
Any suggestions?

Thank you!

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific. I also want a gc that is evergreen (or sticks around in the winter) and I don't care if it flowers or not. I like succlents or grassy-type things, but I haven't been able to get these to grow in this bad soil. I need something that spreads fast and is dense.
Thank you!

Vinca minor (periwinkle) is a decent choice, although it may not be fast enough for you.
