Please help me identify this groundcover

So, I had someone mow my lawn today and they mowed over my ground cover which was planted last spring and had done really well so far this year at propagating and spreading. Please help me identify it so that I can tell the yard man what to replace. E-mail me at cojordan@adelphia.net and I can send you digital photographs of the one remaining plant. Sniff.

You might get better response if you uploaded it here and posted a link. This is a free site.

Hi Cory,

I agree about posting a picture here, but if you had an easily spreading groundcover, I'd say there's at least a 50/50 chance that it will come back just fine--and maybe even denser and better looking than it was. Most ground covers are pretty tough things, and as long as the crowns didn't get too chopped up, it may take a few weeks for it to get going again, but it will probably be back.

Good luck,
Skybird
