Soil for Sedum

I am replacing 700 sq ft of lawn with Sedum Confusum. The gardener is going to remove about 3 inches of dirt and lawn. What sort of soil should I have put down? The area is too large to get bags of potting soil plus it will be very expensive.
Pumice/Coir/sand??

Any kind of soil will work - cheaper the better :-) Sedum only needs good drainage.

Bagged topsoil from your local home improvement store should be just about perfect.
