Creeping Jenny - it's sick

What on earth would eat creeping jenny? I consider it close to a weed! This summer a tiny worm (I think) is eating tiny holes in it. Pulled up some roots and they have a white powder on them. Anyone?

Got the same little critters....sprinkled a bit of diatamacious earth on the plants, and in a day or so they were gone....the plants look pretty bad though. What's really odd is that the critters don't seem to be eating any other plants.

Thanks, Barb - I have diatomacious stuff and will do it tomorrow - never thought of that. I always think I need to start spraying - well, soon I will because the damn Japanese Beetles will be descending on everything. But it looks like maybe I can save the Jenny now.

Be careful with pretty Jenny...she can take over the world!
I made a dire mistake of throwing pieces of it all over a large flower bed, thinking it would make a beautiful groundcover. It overwhelmed everything in the bed! I could have done a combover on our house with it...well, maybe not quite. I still love it in pots, draping over the sides, but after having to basically redo that entire bed to get rid of invasive Jenny, I'll definitely KEEP in in pots only!
