Sedum turning brown

I hope someone can give me some advice on this. I have a nice little garden with a variety of different sedum's in it, it's a relatively new garden (2-3 years). The soil is good & dry and will drained.

The sedum has done really well in this location for a couple of years until this week. It is now turning brown from the bottom up on a variety of different plants (Acre, Angelina, Coral, Dragon's Blood, etc). I live in New England. It has been hot with afternoon storms lately.

Have any of you experienced this?

Thanks for any advice you can give.

Alice S.

Have you checked for dog damage? It seems strange that they made it through the winter and with afternoon storms that all of a sudden they are going kaput.

I just posted in GA forum about my Angelina sedum turning brown from the center out and dying. It's been going great for 3 years and would have covered the area by now. It isn't dogs or foot traffic. Definitely not too wet. Another gardener posted that hers was doing the same. I wish I knew what has gone wrong.
