 o
variegated ground cover, pink tips

We recently moved and I brought my favorite plants to our new home. They all transplanted well but our lawn guy sprayed my favorite ground cover, thinking it was a weed. Grrrrr. I don't have a picture but I would love to be able to buy this plant again. The nursery where I originally bought it no longer carries it and does not have a record of it so here is my best attempt at describing it:

grows 5-6 inches tall

delicate variegated leaves that have a pink tinge in spring

can be rampant if grown near water but well behaved in dry areas

looks a bit like bishop's weed but more refined and not so invasive.

*might* be called 'parrot plant' or 'paradise plant'

I hope this is enough information for someone to id my beloved little ground cover. BTW, it is not lamium or ajuga.

TIA!!!!

This sounds a lot like Jacob's Ladder "Stairway to Heaven" (Polemonium reptans).
