| Nope. It will be a constant battle making sure it has enough water to thrive. Lamiastrum is a plant that prefers partial to full shade and rich, moisture retentive soils. The only saving grace in planting it in full sun is that it is unlikely to run as rampant as it would in conditions it prefers. It is an extremely aggressive spreader, almost to the point of being invasive. |

Mine was here when I bought my home and it runs the length of my garage in dry shade that gets some dappled sunlight and full sun in the winter and early spring. In the 9 years that I have been here it has been easy to keep in check,about twice a season I just take a weedeater to it to clear the stepping stones and to keep it in it's boundary.It does look great in the spring too.
