The very center top of the mounds are turning brown, brown, brown;looking dead, dead, dead, the tentacles are healthy as can be and spreading nicely. I don't believe foot traffic has been excessive tho.
We've had enuf rain, and additional sprinkling is in order too.
Is this a problem? Will it "come back" healthy next spring?
It wasn't that way last year when the plants were newly placed into the soil. Oh woe is me................jaemy

| I've read that the hardiest it is is to Zone 5 and then it should be heavily mulched. If the rhizomes are spreading means there is life but barely. Sorry. Foot traffic shouldn't bother. |
