what GC for wet, condition, mostly shade

I just had to remove some nandina bushes out of our front bed that died (most likely because my hose gives runoff there and too wet for them.) I want a pretty perrenial groundcover to replace the bed that will flower if possible, but it is so shady and is underneath a black walnut tree that I think it may be a difficult place for some things to survive. An evergreen bush grows great there, as well as my impatients. I placed some lemon mint there and it is fine, but having a little bit of powdery mildew. I plan on replacing in the fall when the impatients die. That way it can get established through out the winter. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thx.

Tami
