euonymus colorata

| I've been reading on various forums that some types of euonymus is very invasive. I just planted euonymus colorata this year between a privacy fence and the street and am now wondering if I planted something that will take over and spread on to the neighbors yards up and down the street as well. |

| Issues with invasiveness usually pertain to burning bush or Euonymus alatus. Selections of E. fortunei - like 'Colorata' - are very commonly used as groundcovers without concern. If happily located, they can spread easily but never to the point of being considered invasive. And regular early spring pruning or shearing to restrain growth or renew foliage will help to keep even robust plants in bounds. |

| I agree with gardengal totally; you'll find that 'Colorata' will be very well behaved. My problem with it is that I'd like it to be more aggressive in certain places! I think you'll be happy with it. Cheers! |
