Brand new planting area,...need some advice

Posted by pamcrews 6 SW Missouri (My Page) on

Getting ready to move into a new house and will have a huge section of dirt with all of the most possible negative qualities I can image. Very rocky (my part of Missouri), sloping, bad soil and sunny. I've been trying to research a ground cover that will not be too pricy, cover quickly, stay green through much of the winter and not attract snakes. Any recommendations? Would love to hear what would work great and what to stay away from.

Thanks, Pam

Hi,

There are many groundcover Sedums that would fit all your needs. It's very drought tolerant.
