Best native ground cover for southern Indiana

| Hi - I have a very steep bank, 14' x 200', to cover. What would be your recommendation. Also, it needs to be hardy and fast growing. thanks, Sandra |

| Sun or shade? For shade or part shade, I'd consider partridgeberry, wild ginger or downy phlox. For sun, waldstenia (barren strawberry) or kinninkinnick. |
