Hello Everyone ! I'm Kathy , & new to the Gardening Part of the forum - in fact - I'm new to gardening altogether ! I've lived in this house for 14 yrs. now ... always had stones & mulch for deco . This year - I decided to try my hand at Perrenials. Wish me luck - judging by the luck I have with houseplants - I don't hold out much hope for the outside plants. ~ LOL
My question is on Hen & Chicks. They're such a sturdy little plant - they survived me so far ..... Can I keep them growing inside during the winter so I can put them out again in Spring ? If I Can - can you tell me how ? I live in Wisconsin . I'd appreciate ANY advice you can give me . I planted alot of ground cover this year .. I might be here alot asking questions ! Thank you ~ Kathy |

| These are incredibly hardy little plants - as long as they are given very good drainage, they will survive easily outdoors all the way down to zone 3. Given the choice, I'd prefer to see them planted outdoors where they belong. If you do intend to keep them indoors, provide a cool location, bright light and very minimal water. |
