Periwinkle-Transplant Late Spring or Fall

i live in northern ontario and would like to know whether it is better to transplant periwinkle now or wait till the soil warms up in late may...

Hi--Just so you know, vinca, both major and minor, is considered an invasive species across the USA. Here is a link to the USDA's website of invasive plants and insects:
