 o
groundcover for raspberries

Posted by mikta z2 MT (My Page) on

I'm dividing my strawberries and looking for someplace to plant them. I'm wondering if I can plant them as a groundcover for my raspberry bed. Will the strawberries and raspberries have any negative effects on each other? If strawberries won't work, what else do you suggest? I'd like a groundcover of herbs or something else that I can harvest.

Thanks,
Mik'Ta

RE: groundcover for raspberries

my red raspberries and strawberries grew together. The only problem I had was trying to pick the strawberries around the raspberries without getting caught on the thorns. I did finally move my raspberries to another spot.
