Killing Pachysandra

I have an area that is over run with Pachysandra plants and I need to clear it out by the spring so my wife can plant there. I removed much of it by hand but I need to get all of it. What is the best chemical to use and can I use it now or should I wait till spring?

Thanks in advance,

Joe

RE: Killing Pachysandra

RoundUp when the temperatures are well above freezing (50's or higher) and no rain is expected for at least one day. You might need to do more than one application.
