Hey .. How did I miss this ..

Happy New Year!

RE: Happy New Year

Thank you, I hope your enjoying the nice mile weather so far. It's been cold however we are lucky we haven't had any huge snow falls to date. And the best news is that only a short time away Canada Blooms will be here again.

Oh yes, I meant to mention the other good news, the seeds have started appearing in the stores.

RE: Happy New Year

Won't be long before the BBS start pushing the plants in boxes (berry bushes, dayliliies, etc) -- all long before they can be safely planted.

Happy Valentines Day and forcing forsythia

A very Happy Valentines Day to all and I know it's rather early however I just wanted to see some colour so I have cut some of my forsythia branches and placed them in water and am looking forward to seeing them flower. I have also purchased some daffodils and tulips from the local grocery and it's such a joy to see them bloom. They certainly bring back memories of last spring and they give a boost to the morale, knowing we still have some weeks of winter to get through.
