Hello all;

I'm Ron. Born and raised in Michigan. I live near Grand Rapids.
50 years young, married to the same wonderful woman for 27 years.

Avid Gardener and backyard birder.

Michigan Cerified Nurseryman (MCN).

For the past 40 years I have been gardening and caring for wild birds. Because of this, I have started a news latter called "Backyard Birding Tips." Http://www.backyardbirdingtips.com/

Most gardeners care for birds also and I plan on learning from all of you too.

Thanks,
Ron Patterson

RE: Backyard Birds and Gardens

Sounds great! I just signed up. I love birds and have feeders, birdhouses and baths all over my yard. I even set up a protected feeding station on my deck for the winter months. Several types of seed holders, a tray feeder, a heated birdbath, and even a peanut feeder for the sqirrels. I sit on my sofa everyday and thoroughly enjoy the show as they flit around the feeders.

Thanks for the link ron, I signed up-- not that I watch too many birds, but would like to see some outside of my living room window,
