At one time I found some grasses that I thought were called Rattle grass. It was about 12 to 18 inches in height. I am from Michigan so it was zone 5 hardy. The reason it was called rattle grasses it had at the tip a rattle like a rattle snake and as the wind blew through it made a rattle noise.

Do you know where I can buy this in seed???
