Does anyone know of a plant with copper colored foliage? Maybe some kind of heuchera or some other perennial?

Hi Drakens,

You could try Coppertina Ninebark - it's a shrub that can grow pretty large but I have a Diablo Ninebark that takes to being pruned quite happily.

Carex buchananii is a copper coloured grass, says zone 6 but you might be ok in zone 5.

There are some new heucheras like Caramel and Marmalade that might fit the bill.

Good luck!

There are a couple of perennial Hibiscus that have copper leaves as well.

There is also (heucheras) 'Peach Flambe' that is really more coppery than peach. There is also a "Copper Coleus", an annual - but it is a true brillant copper with bi-color rust shades too; there is also "Copper Glow Coleus". I think there is also kind of a bronze variety.
