Too Early Shoots

I'm new here, but I'm sure you'll see lots of me. In the fall I planted some bulbs along the house, iris, daffodil, and something else (I'm sorry, my brain is drawing a blank). When it warmed up in the beginning of January this year, the shoots started popping out, and of coarse with this being Michigan, it snowed again and again on top of those shoots. So my question is, do I cut the shoots back now that the thaw has begun or can I just leave them as is?

Welcome! Don't worry about them sprouting a bit. They will be fine and need no cutting back. I have daffodils sprouting near the house as well. The foliage may get a little ragged looking, but they will still bloom well. I am so sick of snow & can't wait for spring.
