| Has anyone grown this lily family bulb? It is not hardy in zone 5 and I wonder if it is worth the trouble of digging in the fall for storage. Is it showy or is it a tiny plant?

| It is small but showy. Several blue bells on a narrow stalk. You would get an approximation with campanula persicifolia, whose blooms are a bit bigger. I am pretty sure it would work, as there are lots on Manitoulin Island, in the 5 zone. Just watch that it doesn't start taking over. |

| I grew it because I liked the name ;-) when I lived in Quebec. It did not make it over the Zone 4 winter, but for that one summer it was a pretty, delicate little addition to the garden. Brodie |
