When Can I Move Shrubs?

Posted by silver_wlf 6 Ontario (My Page) on

I need to move a dwarf honeysuckle, a hydrangea and a weiglia.

Can I move them while they're dormant?

RE: When Can I Move Shrubs?

I typically move things as soon as the ground is workable. Last spring I did a lot of moving of plants in early April. Easter this year is early so probably that would be a good weekend to shift things around if your beds are workable. I know I'll be out doing just that.
