| It's not a palm that you could just purchase anywhere where palms are sold from Vancouver to San Diego. Not an easy find, I bought several in Vancouver but I was lucky to find them. The garden is private but palms can be see in public gardens in nearby Ganges. The person on the photo is a local of Saltspring. He was showing me around and knew that I'd appreciate seeing the palms, acacias and eucalyptus specimens on his home island. Here's a Jubaea palm in the same private garden. Cheers |
