| I have an area in my yard that gets filtered sun mainly in the morning, maybe 3 hours a day. It gets plenty of moisture and has great soil. I had three Weigela's there and after a few years they got really thin on foilage. I am looking for suggestions on bushes that will grow 4' tall and preferrably flower at some point during the summer. |

| my go to shrub fro shade is Kerria Japonica. but three hours isn't much sun, does it get filtered shade the rest of the day? you might try some rhodadendrons or azaleas or maybe spicebush--linderon benzoin, oh and mock orange. diggerb |
