Endangered TREES

I have been on the web all day. I am getting frustrated. Can anyone tell me where I can find a list of endangered TREE species in Michigan?

I've been to all the standard places. the MNFI only lists plants, not trees. The MDNR site has me lost- I think I have clicked everywhere- no list of species in need of help.

Can someone please direct me?

I found the list of endangered plants on the first page of a search. Trees are plants and if you go through the list you will see a number of trees

Here is a link that might be useful: Michigan Endangered plants

Ah. So they are. Thanks. I wasn't reading the chart closely enough. :-)

how are chives on the threatened list?

I know the mid-west is known for its fondness for meat and potatoes, but who knew we were threatening chives?

I've personally got 6-8 good sized clumps to help out the species!

Call or email your local...mmm...what do you guys in the USA call them? We call them "Ministry of Natural Resourches" here in Canada... you know what I'm talking about...anyway, call or email the closest one to you in MI and just ask them to give you a listing of shrubs and trees that are "at risk" or "endangered". That's the fastest most accurate way.
