Mossy Saxifrage - how fast does it spread?

I just picked up four plants and wondering where to put them. I thought it might do well in front of garden bed on east side of house. But wondering whether it spreads quickly or slowly. i.e. if I put them in a fairly empty area will it fill in somewhat quickly or more slowly?

    They do not spread. They can be a little tricky here, not liking our hot, humid summers. East-facing sounds good, if it gets some full sun early in the day, and some shade from the hotter, mid-day sun.

    Thanks so much. I guess I'll keep them as a bit of an experiment rather than picking up more of them to fill in the area.
