Help! What flowers quickly from seed?

| I live in a part of Michigan where the last frost date is around May 20. I'm planning a baby shower for my sister on June 12th. I want to spruce up an area with annuals.
What flowers quickly from seed? Do I have enough time, or should I forget about it and just buy annuals from a nursery? |

| Nothing will flower four weeks after planting seed. You need to start them indoors in Feb/Mar. Buy annuals. |

| Thanks! That's what I expected. Maybe I was hoping there might be some secret species I didn't know about yet. I have some perennials I can thin and move around, and then I'll fill the rest of the gaps with annuals from the garden center. |
