| Started a bunch of red flowering cypress vine seeds. Wasn't sure how good the germination would be but it turned out to be VERY good. Actually found my self wondering what I would be able to do with abit over a dozen plants (I live in an apt). Well I put the main tray which held the majority of young plants -- each about 3-4 inches high -- out on the balconey and planted several in a large planter before I went to work. Came back to a plantless balconey. I was NOT pleased. |

Wow - that is just not right! You sure that the grackles got em? We have some in our area - Kalamazoo - but they have never gotten into any of my plants or seedlings. Check in the other area on here and come to the swap in Wayland - at the end of this month - all the info is also in the GET-TOGETHERS area ... I will be bringing along some Porcelain Vine - perhaps those will be good for you and even overwinter on the deck in a big pot. Let me know so that I can put one aside for you! Cheers - Rita |
