I know you can get wood chips from tree trimming services, but the ones I've called are for 10-20 yards! I only need about 5 yards. Is anyone in Metro Detroit and wants to share? Or, so you know of any place where I can just get 5 yeards?

I have a brother-in-law who lives in Warren and he gets his from the town, but the trick is you need a residence in the town and the ability to pick up your own. I don't know where he went to get them. ~Chills

My idea-put your car on the street, and have them dump the chips in the driveway. Shovel all you want/need, and then put a sign on it "free". it will disappear before you know it. In fact, it starts disappearing before you put the sign up.

Zarine, I sent you a private email with my location if you want to look into sharing.
