Unidentified Perennial

I have an unknown perennial growing next to my garage. I don't know how to post a picture. It has a leave that is light green and also dark green on the same leaf and it has small yellow flowers growing on it also. It's very pretty, but no one around here remembers planting it there. Any help.

    Not much to go on. Forsythia is probably the most common thing I can think of. Could also be Kerria, stem would be greenish as well.

    Thanks PK - I don't think it's a forsythia. Can you tell me how to post a photo of it. Maybe that will help.

    I think you have to store your pictures on a 3rd party site.I store my pictures on photobucket.com Upload the picture you want to post, Then all you have to do is click the html tag which will automatically copy the picture then you paste it here in the message area. Good luck..
