Not sure what it is, but I want some! Looks like an annual I've seen recently at garden centers. Streptocarpus? Streptosomething.

Could it be a native type of Ajuga?

Gosh, that sure looks alot like the Creeping Charlie (Glechoma hederacea) that's running rampant throughout my lawn :(...but I could be wrong.

Here is a link that might be useful: Creeping Charlie (aka Ground Ivy)

That's my guess. I hate charlie, but if you take that flower, pull it gently you will find a small white knob at the base, when the flower is mature I have found that that white knob tastes like lavender sugar.

Thanks everybody! Shadyswing, that does appear to be it. I've heard lots of horror stories about 'creeping charlie'. Too bad, cute flower.
