Ice Plant

I have two of these, I keep them on the dry side and they have yet to give me any blooms.

Also bought something called a "Blue Star" does anyone grow these as this has not given me flower one and they have all been in the ground since early May.

My ice plants only bloom when they get plenty of heat and full sun. They are right next to the brick so they get plenty of radiational heating as well. Right now they are blooming like crazy.

If your 'Blue Star' is a Laurentia, it is a very late bloomer here (August). It is a perennial but only hardy to
    Zone 9.

My ice plants have been blooming for about two weeks. I don't keep them especially dry since they border plants which need regular watering.
