I have many lovely hollyhocks, that get an orange
rust on them, usually later then now, but some have
already started. What can I do to prevent this.

I "googled" for 'Rust on Hollyhocks' and found several sites that offered the pathology and solutions for this. Good luck with this. It seems to be common problem.

Hello, I'm sure it's a fungus, had it myself a while back. Seemed to be hard to kill off.I Used Captain, but that's no longer available. Make sure you stay on a regular program of spraying;as l mentioned it's hard to kill. Good luck.
