Does anyone know if the blue muffin or American cranberry are among the viburnum varieties that tolerate proximity to black walnut toxins?

Suggestions for other varieties that do tolerate?

Virginia Tech says most plants in the Viburnum genus tolerate juglone from b. walnut quite well. It helps a great deal if you don't allow leaves & nut hulls to decompose into your growing area. Never use leaves or tree parts in compost, either.

Blue muffin (viburnum dentatum) and American cranberry (v. trilobum) as well as European cranberry (v. opulus) all die under Black Walnuts. I know from experience! Blackhaw viburnum (v. prunifolium) is one species that tolerates juglone.

The V. opulus thrive under Black Walnuts(and everywhere else they have naturalized) here in IL.
