Well I hope they don't turn out to be invasive...

Seems I'm always finding plants I like only to research and find out they are invasive monsters.

Haven't researched either of these but I couldn't resist. Got them at the local farmer's market. 2 dwarf, white, double balloon flowers and 2 red Lychnis. Both are perennials.

For the time being they're on my balcony until I can make the trip up to Traverse City to plant them at my folks' place.

Oh, that double is very attractive. I have a single balloon flower and do not find it invasive at all. I do not know anything about the red Lychnis. It makes a wonderful contrast in colour to the white. I wonder if I can get it in Canada.

The lychnis is fine. I wound up moving it because the one I had was too tall and floppy, but it wasn't invasive.
