Looking for Clematis in Michigan

Has anyone seen or know where I can find a clematis called 'Avant-Garde'? I've called every name I know of from here to Detroit and some in Grand Rapids to no avail. The closest I got was a 'maybe' down in Farmington...must call back in a week and a half. I'm in Saginaw County but would drive to get this one (lower peninsula, that is. :))

| You might try Wenke's Greenhouse in Kalamazoo. I know they have a good selection of Clematis and perennials are now like 40% off as well. Their phone number is 269-388-2266. Make sure that you get confirmation that they have your specific species though, they sometimes say that they have it and then turn out not to. |

| Try calling "the grass garden" @ 810.599.3192. Ingrid sells cool trellises for clematis (she makes them), and carries quite a few different varieties of clematis. She's at the Northville and Ann Arbor markets and I think she has a showroom in the Brighton area. |
