Night Blooming Cereus

Just thought someone would like to see this. The plant was propagated from a leaf cutting three years ago and it had it's first bloom yesterday. It's an indoor plant that is brought outside in the warm weather. There was only one flower but it put on a great show. It's such unusual plant !

Here is a link that might be useful: Photos

Thanks for the photos, indeed

I have several of the plants and I forget what their correct name is

But with different coloured blooms My daughter has taken pictures of some of them WIll see if she could post them here
I don't know how to do it myself.

I love the plants.

I find they are the easiest of all plants to maintain over winter

I am in Florida for winter and bring them all in from the outside, putting them in a window. Not to sunny They get watered once in awhile by one of my kids or a neighbour But usually are quite dry None the less have never lost any of the plants Some are several years old
