I love green onions!!!! Earlier this summer, we planted lots of onion sets and got really tasy green onions, just like we do every year. BUT now you can't buy the onion sets. I was wondering if I planted some Pearl Onions, which I found on sale at a market, would they compare to the onion set ones?

You might look around for "walking" onions, sometimes called Egyptian Walking Onions. They freely reseed and just keep on keeping on.
