Sigh. Planted them around a pussywillow years back. The roots from the willow have thoroughly claimed the bed. This variety [not even sure which one it is now] stays quite short -- about 1- 1.5 ft tall and comes up faithfully each year.

But isn't it beautiful? I LOVE crocosmia. They look like butterflies along a stem.

Mine just finished blooming, this is my first year with them. If I deadhead will I get another flush?

I had to beg mine out of the ground. They don't even have buds yet. However, when I bought them the end of August last year, they had flowers till frost time.
