Osmanthus fragrans aurantiacus

Has anyone grown Osmanthus fragrans in Niagara? Can it be brought in during winter (into glass-walled room with hot tub in it)?

Is there any strain of Osmanthus fragrans that is more cold hardy than others. Looking for an orange-flowered tree.

    You can grow Osmanthus fragrans in Ontario if you have a cool greenhouse/sunroom to keep it over the winter. It will start flowering mid-winter. It flowers over a long period of time...never many flowers open at the same time. The scent is fabulous though.
