on my way towards Madison, WI...

I'm hoping some of you can provided some suggestions...

On Friday (of Labor Day Weekend), DH and I are going to Lake Mills, WI, which is < 1hr east of Madison. I'd like to make a detour along the way to either a botanical garden or a really nice (but reasonably priced) nursery.

I think we'll be taking 90 from Toledo to Chicago, and then either take 90 or 39 up towards Madison (Lake Mills). Anything within 30 minutes of those highways would be awesome!!

Thanks for helping me turn a TDI Fest into something that enables my gardening hobby =)

A really great nursery is the Flower Factory, near Stoughton, south of Madison. They have demonstration gardens, and a very extensive variety of hostas and daylilies, as well as other perennials. You can get the address and directions by googling: Flower Factory, Stoughton. I just realized that they may have been affected by the tornado that hit near Stoughton about a week ago, so you may want to call before you stop in.

I love the Flower Factory. They have the best perennials and at a great price! Check out their website

I can't wait until they open in April!
