Fan Palms/Banana Tree/Monkey Puzzle in MI

Thanks to some of you that gave some great advise. I've been growing several Banana Trees and Fan Palms along with Monkey Puzzle Trees right here in SE MI.

All of our guests are very impressed. The Prickly Pear Cactus is actually a MICH native and flourishing, and the small Fan Palm made it through last winter with my Fig Tree and Tree Branch Yuccas.

It looks like a tropical paradise here in SE MICH.

I would also love to see some pictures of your Michigan grown fan palm, monkey puzzle tree, and banana plants, and I'd also love to know where you bought them from, since winter testing of tropicals is in such an early stage.

Thanks,
Marbree
