 o
garden a mess after holidays

We went on a lovely three week holiday and had someone to look after our potted plants a few new ones which required water. You guessed it, this person did not water and except for the pelagoriums, they're all dead. What a disappointment. The rest of the garden is a disaster too since our area had no rain the whole time we were away, so everything suffered. Right now it's hard to know if some of the newly planted bushes will survive, and some of the perennials look so sad. I am starting to put in more drought resistant varities as this may be a sign of things to come.

That's terrible, all that time and money wasted. That person who you trusted to water showed you who they really are. I guess you are going to have to wait to see how the rest of your plantings shake out.
