I love heucheras but have also found another passion in the garden . Rock gardens and the plants we put in them. Right now I am looking at finding places in Southern Ontario that has interesting rocks (sandstone, limestone etc) that I can use in the garden and grow plants in their crevices. Does anyone know of such places ?
I found a wonderful place to get alpines and plan a trip in early spring to buying lots of them . The place is

I would suggest you take a trip up to the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario....Very interesting limestone formations there..

Check out the Ontario Rock Garden Society webpage. They meet in Toronto, but even if you can't attend meetings, there is lots of info on the web page, including a seed exchange, germination guide, etc.

Here is a link that might be useful: Ont Rock Garden Society
