daffodil in November

Just a few days ago, I cut a daffodil from my front garden and brought it inside. It's had 6 buds, all of which have bloomed in the heat of the house. This climate stuff is weird!

I am also in zone 5, but it sounds like you are in the "Twilight Zone". Very strange happening!

We ended up with a second daffodil in late November. Now we've got blooming snowdrops - galanthus elsweii (I have no idea if I spelled it right). But they're blooming nonetheless. I am in a weird zone!

Hmmm. My daffodils didn't pop up with this warm spell but my Tulips have started to come up. Did you get anything else Kec01?

I have seen some hyacinths just breaking the soil.

Final count of those that made it to bloom - 2 daffodils, 4 snowdrops. I've also got about 6-8 more dafs that are about 3 inches tall. Guess those won't be blooming this spring. Although it's nice standing out at the bus and train stops in warm weather at this time of year, the gardening side of me (which is the more important side!!) HATES THIS UNSEASONABLY WARM WEATHER!
