Loved looking at the pics. Right now it's 13F where I live. Yes, I'm a little jealous, but they do look so good!

Magnolia grandiflora with fall flowers

Magnolia grandiflora may put out flowers in late fall on Vancouver Island. I find it interesting to see large, white flower buds in late fall or on a winter month. This is a tough tree with its large, evergreen leaves.

I imagine it must be a sight to see those flowers at this time. We have magnolias here, but they only bloom in spring. Beautiful sight. Are there many flowers on the magnolias at this time, or just here and there? I'm seeing a lot of white here too....in the form of snow! LOL! But by Sunday it'll be gone because we're supposed to get some rain.
